At Encore, we believe in building students from the inside out. We know that developing a great cartwheel takes more than just mastering the moves; it requires confidence, determination, motivation, and goal-setting skills. Our approach is to help build these characteristics in our students through encouragement, positive reinforcement, fun, and personal connection.
In addition to weekly gymnastics classes for kids, we offer a variety of children's programs including Summer Camps, Birthday Parties, Climbing Walls, Indoor active playtime for kids, Day Camps, Performance Teams, and much more.
Our People
Our rockin', well-trained staff bring their unique knowledge and energy to every class they teach. Every staff member goes through a comprehensive training program that has evolved over our 40+ years in the gymnastics business.
Our Legacy
It all started with a mom. Gay Gerlack first opened the doors in 1983, in a small building on Saranap Avenue near downtown Walnut Creek. She had been looking for a positive, healthy place for her girls to learn gymnastics, but when she couldn't find it, like all great women do, she built it herself.
Our Facility
Our 23,000 sq ft, custom-built, air-conditioned facility provides a spacious environment for our athletes to move and grow as well as ample room for our families to observe. Keeping our families and staff healthy and free of germs is a high priority for us here.
